Artist's Comments

The whole thing with walking your talk. There is a difference between just feeling concerned about the state of your fandom, and actually doing something about it as a part of said fandom. Somehow or another a lot of people seem to think that complaining, blaming others, and/or threatening to leave will solve the problem. Most of the time the biggest help comes from those people making good on their threat to leave. Personally I feel that focusing on what actually got me into the fandom is what sweeps my doorstep. What do you do to sweep yours?

Troll - person who doesn't have anything better to do than to try and cause trouble for others. Generally not welcome anywhere, much less in a supposedly "broken" fandom which they would only make worse through their trolling.

Whiners - Basically self-explanatory. Thinks that complaining will get the job done. All it really does is get other people upset, which only makes the whiners more upset, which makes them whine more.

Drama Llamas - Like a whiner except that they complain more to get attention than to try and help. Generally ignored except by other attention whores who pay in to the whining in hopes that their platforms will be noticed.

Blowhards - Comes in many different varieties depending on their opinions. The biggest thing they have in common is their "I'm right and you're wrong" approach in discussions. Never takes responsibility for their actions when their plans only create more negativity and upset for others; prefers to pin the blame on people in higher stations than them.

McFans - People who claim to be a part of the fandom but yet do not believe that they should have to bear the same burden as everyone else when it comes to "saving" it. Think of locusts. Quickly drop out when conditions are unfavorable for them, and then quickly latch onto the next coolest thing to hit the media.
