I've always liked doing pieces like this... It's just the added bonus of how this sort of stuff pisses off the anti-fans that makes it so much more worthwhile to me nowadays.
Pencil on paper, inked with a ball-point and a Sharpie, scanned and colored with a background and vector snowflakes added in Photoshop.
Beautiful and peaceful. I love the way you do light and shadowing. It is so natural, and it always makes your drawings look so incredibly "real;" three-dimensional. I love that. I also like how the snowflakes are turned in all different planes -- like they are wafting down on faint breezes, rocking in the air currents.
"Purity." Perfect title. Something the anti-fans will probably never understand. Sadly their loss. I do honestly pity them sometimes.
Truly lovely image. Faving this.

Great job. He looks older here...16 maybe. I don't know if that was intentional or not. Love the effects.

This is nicely done with the coloring, and the snowflakes Danny looks really peaceful as well. But I still don't understand whats up with this anti-fan/true-fan thing. It really doesn't make any sense to me at all.

Daily Literature Deviations is a group that is dedicated to bringing literature to the forefront of the deviantArt community. We attempt to accomplish this by daily featuring Literature artists from around the community that deserve the recognition, but are not getting it.
Each day we will feature 10 deviations from the Literature categories in a News Article. In order to support the artists that we feature, we ask that you the news article as well as check out the individual pieces. We understand that each day you may not be able to check out each and every one of the pieces, everyone has their own things going on. We just ask that you make an attempt to help support the growing Literature community.
